Description

Due to travel restrictions from Covid-19 AMI Marine are offering International Training for our X Series products.

Our training instructor will travel to your location. They will teach the complete AMI Marine training program.

AMI international training courses are designed for qualified marine electronic engineers. They can have little or no experience working on AMI products. (Engineers must have knowledge of VDR’s.)

Trainees will be focusing on our S-VDR and VDR Systems and Interfaces. Also, with an overview of other primary AMI Marine products.

  • OVERVIEW ON PRIMARY INTERFACES

This will include installation and set up fault finding and also resolving problems. Additionally, Annual Surveys with a full understanding of the AMI software.

COURSE / ASSESSMENT OVERVIEW:

VR2272B/X2272 – S-VDR/VDR (LEGACY RANGE)

  • Introduction, Disassembly, and Reassembly
  • Installation, setting to work, and also, software setup
  • Annual Survey procedure, question time, and system conclusion

X-SERIES VDR/S-VDR (NEW GENERATION RANGE)

  • Introduction, Disassembly, and Reassembly
  • Installation, setting to work, and also software setup
  • Fault finding and system diagnosis
  • Annual Survey procedure
  • Theoretical examination & Fault-finding examination

OTHER AMI EQUIPMENT OVERVIEWS; XVHFR, XMDR, BNWAS, SMIDS, AND OTHER PRODUCTS.

COURSE SUMMARY, QUESTION TIME AND CONCLUSION

PRE-REQUISITES:

Laptop. (Windows 7 or Higher) (Windows XP or Windows 2000 some Apps do not run)

This is for trainees to ensure they can connect to and also access the VDR and run the replay software.

COURSE RESULT:

All AMI Trained Engineers are issued with an Approved Training Certificate. It is valid for 3 years as standard. Engineers must pass the examination and practical tests to be issued the certificate.
